Meet Ted Ruble, LPC
Ted has been working in mental health for over 12 years. He is experienced in treating issues such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, domestic violence, controlling relationships, substance use issues etc. Ted utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, stress management techniques, and other approaches in therapy. Ted is a therapist who genuinely cares for the well-being of his clients. He takes pride in helping clients to learn different ways of adjusting to the stressors of life effectively.
Ted spent 5 years in the Navy, supporting efforts to combat terrorism after 9-11. After moving on from the military, Ted found it difficult to find the same sense of purpose in a career, and decided to go into mental health where he could make a difference in the lives of others. Ted and his family moved to the Charleston area in 2021 after a decade of vacationing here and falling in love with the area. In his free time, Ted enjoys visiting all of the different unique areas of the Lowcountry, listening to live music, and spending time at the beach with his family.
